Note: “Dry” use is recommended only on normal street. For dusty roads, desert and extreme conditions, it is better to oil the filter. You can use any brand of the best quality, both for cotton or foam.

Note: due to the design of the airbox, it is highly recommended to seal all matching surfaces, both where the rubber “frame” of the filter sits. Simple Lithium grease put with the finger will suffice.

This means the filter can be cleaned with compressed air and soapy water without damage to the filter so you can use it over and over again.
